Hello! My name is Keerthana and I would be happy to share my experience since joining ng-voice. I am 26 years old, and I come from India. I recently started my new role as a Deployment Engineer at ng-voice, based in the Hamburg office.

Can you tell us about your professional journey before joining the ng-voice?

My path to this role has been a mix of curiosity and hands-on learning. I completed my Master’s in Information and Communication Engineering at TU Darmstadt, where I developed a strong foundation in networks and cloud technologies. During this time, I worked at DE-CIX in Frankfurt, which gave me practical exposure to Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and networking. I also spent some time as a student researcher at SEEMO TU Darmstadt, where I worked on improving the resilience of radio access networks.

Joining ng-voice felt like the perfect next step, as the role aligns closely with my background and career goals. I was particularly drawn to the technologies and the technical challenges the company works on.

What was your experience moving to Hamburg?

I moved to Hamburg at the beginning of October 2025, and the city has already won me over (though the famous Hamburg rain is something I’m still getting used to). I was lucky to experience a few sunny days before the true Hamburg autumn set in! I also had the chance to see the city during the Christmas season and explore the markets, which made the winter months especially memorable. That said, I’m already looking forward to experiencing summer in Hamburg. Having lived in Germany for almost three years now, Hamburg was always a place I wanted to visit but never quite managed to, so I’m thrilled to finally call it home.

How has your experience at ng-voice been so far?

My first few months have been all about focusing on learning and getting deeply familiar with the product and internal processes. I have genuinely enjoyed diving into new topics and understanding how everything connects. Along the way, I also had several opportunities to connect with the team, including joining a coffee tasting event with my colleagues. It’s inspiring to see how the work we do contributes to advancing voice services in 4G and 5G networks, and to be part of that journey, even in a small way.

What appealed to you about joining ng-voice?

What appealed to me most was how closely the role aligns with my background and career goals. I was particularly drawn to the innovative, cloud-native technologies that the company works with, as well as the opportunity to take on meaningful challenges, expand my knowledge and grow both personally and professionally. The combination of impactful work, cutting-edge technology, and a supportive team made ng-voice an ideal place to contribute and thrive. Seeing how these technologies are applied to deliver real-world transformation further confirmed that ng-voice was the right choice for me.
